Claudio Salem is the Technical Quality & Compliance Assurance Manager for Rentokil Terminix. He is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, having earned his degree from University of São Paulo USP - São Paulo, Brazil, as well as a Board Certified Entomologist through the Entomological Society of America. His unique expertise led him to be invited to serve in a U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention program known as the CDC Emergency Response Team, which is on-call to respond to vector-borne disease outbreaks both here in the U.S. and in other countries. Salem has done extensive work with mosquitoes and was actively involved in mosquito deterrence programs for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
