Chad’s background and experience

Chad combines advanced academic training in entomology with extensive experience in technical leadership and applied pest management support. In his current role, he leads technical teams across a large operating region and supports the business by overseeing technician development, pest identification, technical assistance for challenging pest problems, product and equipment testing, and the delivery of training seminars and workshops.

His scientific background began during his master’s program, where he worked on the biological control of gypsy moths in Pennsylvania and Ohio, as well as fungal phytopathogens.

Following his graduation from North Carolina State University in 2004, Chad remained at the university as a postdoctoral research associate.

At NC State, Chad focused on the physiological and molecular biology of German cockroach allergens, cockroach and allergen mitigation tactics in infested homes, and cockroach control in animal rearing facilities. This blend of research, education, and operational support continues to shape his work today, helping field teams solve complex pest challenges with scientifically grounded, practical solutions.
