Let us help you control rodents with DIY trapping tips!
Step 1: Set traps perpendicular to your walls, with the baited end flush against the wall.
Why? Rodents follow the perimeter of a room.
Tip! You can never have too many traps!
Step 2: Set traps at least six inches apart.
Tip! Leave enough space in between traps so that if one goes off, it doesn't trigger another!
Step 3: Bait traps with something that won't spoil, such as dry pet food or a bacon cheese spread. How? Apply a pea-sized amount to prevent rodents from nibbling at the bait. Tip! Avoid using poison as this will result in rodents dying in your walls, where they'll emit an unpleasant odor.
Bonus Tip! If possible, tie traps down so injured mice or rats cannot run off with them.
