How much does a termite treatment cost?

The first step in determining the cost of termite extermination is understanding the problem. Are these subterranean termites or drywood termites? Is the termite infestation within or outside of the property? The signs of termite activity will help indicate the severity of the infestation - are there mud tubes all over the basement walls or have they established themselves deep into the wood?

To answer all of the above questions, Western Exterminator will need to visit your property to schedule a termite inspection. Following which, below factors will determine the most suitable termite treatment and its associated costs:

  • Type of termites - There are many different species of termites. Pinpointing the termite species will help determine the types of treatment options, which will in turn, determine costs.

  • Severity of termite infestation - If many termites are present, or if there is a very large termite nest within your property, you may require more extensive treatment to get rid of termites.

  • Size of your property - The square footage of your property and premises will have a direct impact on the type and amount of treatment (bait station, chemical, fumigant or otherwise) used and the number of specialists and follow-up treatments required

  • Size of termite infestation - In some instances, there may be more than one nest involved. Termites can also reach deep into wood structures which may call for specialist termite fumigation services and follow-up treatments.
