Alpha Ecological history

Alpha Ecological was founded in 1986, providing eco-friendly pest control following the integrated pest management service model. Over the years, Alpha Ecological pest specialists earned a reputation for using higher-quality products, in smaller amounts and only using chemicals when necessary. 

Founded in Portland, Oregon, Alpha Ecological through the years carefully expanded its pest control service areas to include the metro areas of Portland, Salem, Eugene, and Medford, OR; Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Longview, Spokane, Tri-Cities, Yakima & Walla Walla, WA.; Coeur D’Alene & Boise, ID; Denver, Aurora & Boulder, CO; Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, Tucson and Prescott, AZ. 

As the business grew, Alpha Ecological remained committed to delivering high quality local pest control by make sure employees were personally invested in the communities they serve because they were members of the community. This locally-focused approach allowed Alpha pest specialists to remain familiar with the common pests that homes and businesses have issues with.

Alpha Ecological today

In 2016, Alpha Ecological officially changed its name to Western Exterminator. Western Exterminator is part of the Rentokil global family that provides commercial and residential pest control to customers worldwide.
